Meeting minutes and full logs of today's FPC meeting are online: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging/Minutes http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging/Minutes/20090217 Summary: No new guidelines this week. Issues pending FESCo ratification: * User Creation o Somehow during the wiki conversion a guideline page was created that redirected too a draft page. This was in error; FPC never approved the draft and the redirection page has been removed. * Preferring %global over %define o https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackagingDrafts/global_preferred_over_define o Draft was accepted. If FESCo approves, we will run through and update the various guidelines and templates. * Review Guideline for fonts o https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackagingDrafts/ReviewGuideline_for_fonts_%282009-01-22%29 o The draft was unchanged from two weeks ago, save for the addition of a discussion section. FPC again voted against the draft. o However, see below for discussion of plans for the ReviewGuidelines document. * PHP Guideline changes to accommodate channels o https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackagingDrafts/PHP o The draft was clarified as requested in the previous meeting. The new draft was accepted. * Guidelines for the Epoch: tag o https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackagingDrafts/Epoch o The draft was modified according to discussion and the modified draft was accepted. * Revised Icon Cache scriptlets o https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackagingDrafts/Icon_Cache o The draft was accepted. * Clarification to the guideline on duplicate files o https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackagingDrafts/Duplicate_Files o The draft was accepted.
