It appears someone currently owns gftp for current and devel branches. I was attempting to follow guidelines as stated https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackageMaintainers/OrphanedPackages and either someone sniped the package from me or they were defaulted to because they were in the group of maintainers that are added to the package in pkgdb.
