I think we should always install grub to the /boot partition's boot sector, no matter what. That should be completely safe, because we "own" /boot and sharing a single /boot between different OS installs isn't really supported anyway. 2. We can certainly continue to ask the user whether we should additionally install grub to the MBR. We could use user-friendly terms like "Install system-wide multi-boot menu", or similar. 3. Then anaconda could present a list of partitions it finds that contain bootable boot sectors and offer to add them to the grub menu. 4.
