I think, you didnt read my whole post, that's why ur asking me "How much easier I want?" I already told "There has a very easy way to install a rpm package from CLI ". I know it very well. Because I am using Fedora from Fedora Core 1. But what about a new Linux user? What I proposed, this is not for me.

However, we have already end this discussion. Thanks for your reply.

How much easier than "yum localinstall package.rpm" do you want?  That
will install the package and any dependencies.

In Fedora 10, double-clicking on .rpm file launches gnome-packagekit
to install the package (and any dependencies).  You can even launch
the GUI from the command-line with gnome-open.
