This highly depends on the hardware. My laptop has an Intel 965 chipset. In
F9, several 3D apps/games were triggering an assertion failure in the
driver, and all the others had awful performance. In F10 the crashes are
gone and the apps/games are fast.

Although there's now a single intel driver, for some of the older chipsets
(intel 845G) that *did* have acceleration + 3d under the old i810 driver F9,
it's now terribly broken - even 2d acceleration results in a hang:

That laptop's still stuck on F9, using a USB drive to test against rawhide.
