As usual. we need a single page release notes for Fedora 11 Alpha.
Edit the following page and fill in the notes for major new features,
known bugs and things that need more explicit testing.

* Ext4 has been a experimentally supported option from Fedora 9 release
and is now the default filesystem for the Fedora 11 Alpha release. List
of new features at

FS shrink is not supported yet but planned to be made available by
Fedora 11 release. Backup data for safety
* Btrfs (link to http://btrfs.wiki.kernel.org/index.php/Main_Page), the
next generation filessytem is a experimentally supported option in this
release. To enable it within the installer, pass "icantbelieveitsnotbtr"
in the installation boot prompt.

* GNOME 2.26 development snapshot is part of the release and is the
default environment in the Fedora Desktop Edition (installable live cd).

* KDE 4.2 RC2 is part of this release and is the default environment in
the Fedora KDE Desktop Edition (installable live cd). <add more info
including the new volume control and provide a screenshot>
* A major new release of Xfce, Xfce 4.6 beta is available in the
repository and is the default environment in the Fedora Xfce Spin
(installable live cd)
* Python 2.6 has been integrated into the release and all the software
in the distribution has been made compatible with it. This effort will
help lead the way to Python 3.0, a major release with some
incompatibilities.
