Hi, Peng Huang and Fedora i18n are submitting a Feature to use ibus [1] as the default input method system in F11. https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/IBus iBus was added to Fedora during the F10 cycle and is under active development. We now feel that it is ready for wider testing and to become sufficiency stable and featured to be the default input method for Fedora 11. There will also be some more discussion about this in the Fedora I18n meeting tomorrow, announced last week.
