Have you considered taking this to distributions@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and
discussion about having a single format between distributions for
defining groups? SUSE shares repomd format but has defined their own
group structure at
http://en.opensuse.org/Patterns
Debian and Ubuntu seems to rely on metapackages and task selects. Some
coordination would be helpful.
