I intend to push mysql 5.1.30 into rawhide next week, as soon as the alpha freeze has lifted. This involves an ABI break: libmysqlclient.so has increased its major version number from 15 to 16. According to pkgdb the packages listed below will require rebuilds. (Hopefully just a rebuild and not source-code changes...) I'm willing to launch rebuilds for anyone who can't do it themselves in a timely fashion; let me know if you want me to. Upstream documentation about changes since 5.0.x can be found here: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/news-5-1-x.html If you want to do some early testing, there are provisional scratch builds for rawhide here: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=1051162 or you can pull mysql/devel from CVS (changes are committed, but not tagged yet). regards, tom lane Io-language-mysql salimma MySQL-python tgl amarok abompard apr-util-mysql jorton bacula-director-mysql ixs bacula-storage-mysql ixs bind-sdb atkac callweaver-mysql dwmw2 cherokee pali collectd-mysql rjones cyrus-sasl-sql tmraz dbmail-mysql bjohnson dovecot-mysql sharkcz exim dwmw2 flow-tools stingray freeradius-mysql jdennis gambas2 spot gammu laxathom gdal rezso gmyth hadess gnokii-smsd-mysql snirkel grass rezso jabberd adrian koffice-kexi-driver-mysql awjb libdbi-dbd-mysql tgl libgda-mysql denis libnss-mysql ondrejj libpreludedb-mysql sgrubb lighttpd-mod_mysql_vhost thias lua-sql-mysql timn mapserver rezso mediatomb mwiriadi mod_auth_mysql jorton mysql++ remi mysql-connector-odbc tgl nagios-plugins-mysql mmcgrath ntop rakesh openser-mysql peter pam_mysql stingray pdns-backend-mysql ruben perl-DBD-MySQL kasal php-mapserver jorton php-mysql jorton postfix mlichvar proftpd-mysql thias pure-ftpd abompard qt-mysql than qt3-MySQL than redland thomasvs rekall-mysql spot rsyslog-mysql theinric ruby-mysql orion ser-mysql ixs showimg-mysql abompard snort-bloat ausil snort-mysql ausil snort-mysql+flexresp ausil totem-mythtv hadess ulogd-mysql abompard zabbix sharkcz zoneminder mebourne -- fedora-devel-list mailing list fedora-devel-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-devel-list
