It may build where this older version doesn't, I don't know for sure. I have verified and tested that the three things in Mandriva which use rasterbar libtorrent - deluge, miro, and springlobby - can build and work with this version of libtorrent (there's trivial patches for deluge and springlobby in Mandriva SVN if needed).
