Hi,

On a somewhat special piece of hardware (point-of-sale hardware) where
I can successfully run RHEL4 and RHEL5, I can't get F9 or F10 working
w.r.t. graphics.  That is, I just get a black screen, X doesn't die!
I've now installed F10 (text mode installer).

I did not try Fedora on that hardware until recently and after it failed,
I decided to wait till F10, without luck.

The "lspci -v" output for the VGA card is:

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82915G/GV/910GL Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 0e) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
Subsystem: Intel Corporation 82915G/GV/910GL Integrated Graphics Controller
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 16

       I/O ports at ff00 [size=8]
       Memory at d0000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=256M]
       Memory at fdf80000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=256K]
Capabilities: [d0] Power Management version 2
       Kernel modules: intelfb

The last "(EE)" message from Xorg.0.log is:

   (EE) intel(0): Bad VBT signature

I can send the full Xorg.0.log if needed, but I didn't want to spam
the list with that right now.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
