I suspect that's what's tripping you up. Is automake being used? How are you invoking libtool? I would suspect the correct way to do this in automake is: wherever_LTLIBRARIES = libgyachi.la libgyachi_la_LDFLAGS = -avoid-version -- Dan -- fedora-devel-list mailing list fedora-devel-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-devel-list
