See my point? "NEXTRELEASE" is not based on the version of the OS the bug was filed at, but is based upon current development. "NEXTRELEASE" is "The next official OS release to come out in the future", which is "Fedora Core 2" in the case of Fedora, or "Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4" in the case of RHEL. A bug in RHL 9, that is fixed in Fedora Core 1, or a Fedora Core 1 update, can be closed "CURRENTRELEASE" as Fedora Core 1 is the current release. -- Mike A.
