Hm, as per https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=101261 the FC2 glibc (2.3.3-27) should be fixed already (unbreak-patch went into 2.3.3-10 according to Ulrich). What glibc version do you use (I have no FC2 box here), and can you please capture the actual reverse lookups with: tcpdump -l -s 1500 Best regards, Daniel
