Whatever happened to having yum cache and reuse FTP connections? I know there was a patch circulating to do this that worked well (but required working around the broken urllib.ftpwrapper used by urllib2.CacheFTPHandler). It's really, really annoying to be 2/3 done with an upgrade and have yum abort because of a "Too Many Users" error on an FTP server. -- Shahms King <shahms@xxxxxxxxxx>
