Probably the GNOME shell would be a correct component, but I'm not sure.

the last couple of weeks. Switching layouts from the indicator worked,
until I ran an update. If the issue is ibus-related, the regression
was probably introduced in version 1.5.26-8 (or 1.5.26-7).
