For the record, there won't necessarily *be* another RC, we got RC-1.6
over the weekend and so far there are no accepted blockers in it.

We also rejected this as an FE issue at the review meeting this
morning; it just didn't seem significant enough to be twiddling with
comps and changing package dependencies. No-one seemed to be at the
meeting to bat for the bug.
