Yes, that is still there, but what i can't see there is a way to set an
Application as the default for SVG, That dialog allows me to open it in
Inkscape, but i want to be able set inkscape as the default for the SVG
mimetype.

Ah, ok. Didnt know there was an "open with" tab in properties. I was in "Right Click -> Open With" where i thought the behaviour was.

got it now.
