As language support is an important thing, I suggest we should start of with ALL the fonts currently in the default Desktop install, and not remove any of them: only add.

Having Fedora Workstation degrade the language support of default Fedora is a bad idea.

I agree. Removing fonts (unless they are really redundant) is only going to degrade overall user experience.
Users want to be able to see all kinds of text in wikipedia and other websites.
Most native fonts (except CJK) are pretty small anyway.
