The source is on github: https://github.com/openSUSE/imagewriter all we have to do is send 'em a few lousy PRs to make the branding configurable, add any features we think are missing (image verification, if it doesn't already do it? a little mechanism to find available images for the distro based on a configuration file, then each distro can ship its own config file? the persistence mechanism thing?), and Bob's your uncle, really.
