How is it "totally generic"?  We want /the/ Fedora live image to be for
Desktops as this is the target audience of Live images.  If we want to
make a Live image for running a ppc64 print server we'll make a
Live-Server image.  We're trying to promote you, not hide you away in
the sea of other choices...
