Open a terminal. Type "su -" to login to root. Now, you need to edit /etc/grub.conf (which is a symlink to /boot/grub/grub.conf, so it doesn't matter which one you edit). You can use a simple text editor like nano ("nano /etc/grub.conf"), or vim or something else if you're more familiar with. You can even start a graphical editor like gedit ("gedit /etc/grub.conf"). Here you can change GRUB's (GRand Unified Bootloader) settings. Change "title Other" to "title Windows XP" and change "timeout=3" to "timeout=20". That should do it. Save and exit.
