Hi,
My modem is an ADSL USB, not ethernet. Is there anyway to install it?
 Thanks

Can someone help me on how to setup ADSL dialup broadband
        connection.
         Thanks.

Is modem an ethernet Modem ??
Anyway in System Tools you will find a Network device
configuration tool, you add an ADSL connection, that's it....

It depends on the modem type. Some are easy, some need some fighting, some no way of working.
Let us see if we can help.
Submit also the output of the command lsusb.....

My modem is Prolink, Hurrican 8000 USB.
When I check with the vendor he says it can work on Linux but the driver is from third party, which I have downloaded.
when I check the system tools>>Network config, there is no modem detected, thus I am not able do anything. Apart from that can you please tell me how do I get output command lsusb, so that I can let you know.

Following is the link for the driver.

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=84006&package_id=86598

Thanks.
Mani.
