Hi everyone,

Just as a quick follow-up, I spent the past few hours triaging the ticket queue, so you should see a lot more green triaged tags now :)

Do not hesitate to reach out if you have any doubts about any of the open tickets you are interested in. Please seek guidance early and often - this is a collaborative team and we always create the best work by working together :)

Cheers,

Hi folks,

I want to avoid anyone working on a ticket that hasn't been triaged or assessed yet. Particularly, if a ticket involves working with Fedora trademarks, there's certain rules / restrictions around that and new contributors would likely not be familiar, so a couple of points:

- If a ticket does not have the "triaged" tag on it (it's bright green, will appear in the ticket list and in the right sidebar of the ticket page) please reach out here on list or track me down to get the ticket triaged / assessed. I am just worried there are tickets in the system that aren't valid or have specific requirements (like trademark related tickets) that would save wasted effort / time if you had the information to start.

- Before working on Fedora branding tickets, please review the Fedora Logo usage guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Logo/UsageGuidelines. These do apply and any exceptions to these guidelines need to be approved by me (as the Fedora Logo maintainer.)

I am feeling really bad because there's a lot of excellent work on ticket #731 right now but we can't use it because of the conflict with the logo usage guidelines as well as the fact we have team logo templates we need to stick to.

Cheers,
~m
