Hi Design-Team! I've done a little digging on Jacques Costeau (the STEM innovator that is serving as inspiration for the F27 wallpaper), and made a pinboard of some images that I think represent a good direction to move towards in terms of the design. Costeau was as French undersea explorer of the mid 1900s, and his underwater exploration is what he was best known for, so I think that some sort of an aquatic theme would be fitting for this project. The pinboard below is comprised mostly of underwater images with interesting bright blue/ dark blue (almost black)contrast as I think something like this would fit in quite well with the previous Fedora wallpapers. https://www.pinterest.com/norpants96/f27-costeau-inspiration/ just a few things, the guys name is Jacques Cousteau and the 1900s was not last century ;) Have the same hints as Matt, I actually decided for Cousteau becaus we seem to have better ideas with "underwater" and "space" as with steam punk, the verne wallpaper was once a chance to do something steampunky and we came not up with something. I like from yours this the most. https://www.pinterest.de/pin/427208714643330140/ I can see a "pattern" we could play with the fish swarm for it: http://cdn.digital-photo-secrets.com/images/fish-swarm-water.jpg https://static01.nyt.com/images/2007/11/13/science/swarm_3_600.1.jpg https://aqua.org/~/media/Images/downloads%20and%20ecards/World%20Oceans%20Day/NationalAquarium-WOD-1920x1080.jpg just some other examples br gnokii Best, Mary _______________________________________________ design-team mailing list -- design-team@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to design-team-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |
