At first glance, it is obvious the art is associated with python but the parasite (which should have more focus) is not apparent. The parasite looks like a gold crown. Are you restricted to an image size? The art seems small with respect to its borders. You could use a larger resolution then, after the ticket owner is satisfied, you can scale to final size (and retouch if necessary). You seem to be working with a raster image editor like GIMP. Your mileage might increase with a vector image editor like Inkscape. Initial pencil/pen sketches may be more appropriate for critiques until a concept is accepted. You can then enhance the sketch with any application you choose.
