I think you have browsed through the open tickets. That's a good start :)

I can see that you have already replied to the ticket. When you say
'get it', I am assuming you want to take responsibility of completing
the tasks in the ticket. You can do so that by 'owning' it. Currently,
its owned by nobody. You can own it too if you wish to go ahead with
it. You can also submit your ideas and suggestion without owning the
ticket and that's fine too. We are all a community here and good
designs and art come out of repeated discussions and iterations.

The ticket is a good space to ask for details about the task viz.
dimensions, colour preference and other details. Once you have
something in mind and are somewhat clear or even hazy about the
functional aspects of the requirements, you can go ahead to actually
try implementing a first draft of it using appropriate tools (Gimp,
Inkscape etc). For a ready reference of good open art and to make your
own remixed artwork which can serve the purpose, visit Open Clip art
Library [1] and Open Font Library [2] (for typography) There are
however some guidelines laid out (in draft stage for now) for usage of
Fedora logos and text. Have a look at them here [3]. Feel free to ask
anything on the list.
