Hello. I just went through the links and I would like to give it a shot. I mean, I have a few ideas that might come into good use.

I've been sporadically working on Ransom Notes, which are basically banners for the 'captive' audience of the installer, for a few months now. (For more information on the Ransom Note concept, look here: http://blog.linuxgrrl.com/2011/09/16/fedora-design-bounty-installer-ransom-notes/ ) Sketches and iterated concepts can be seen at the Ransom Note page, https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Anaconda/UX_Redesign/Ransom_Notes, but because a lot of the initial ideas can't be implemented without significant implementation difficulty (As I understand it, we don't know what desktop environment the user is using. If I'm mistaken, and this is in fact easily dealt with, I'd love to know.) only a few of them have been eligible for refinement and ultimately, inclusion in F17. Therefore, we're looking for you to share any ideas on what we should show users while they install.

Chris Beiser.
