I love Emily's new version as well. One of the problems it solves for me is the overall brightness and high energy of the revision that's on my desktop now. The crystal shards, graphite shafts, or whatever you prefer to call them are cool but the high contrast and density of the image there makes it harder to concentrate on or locate my desktop icons in that space.
