Declaring something "public domain" seems impossible or very hard to do depending on your location (remember: I am not a lawyer, though). Would you settle for CC-ZERO, CC-BY or CC-BY-SA?
Other than that I'd be happy to put them on the submission page for you. :)

OK, here it comes: I actually discovered I have two different
collections of images I made myself and therefore can submit
with no potential legal problems.

As explained in the pages above, the original images were made
by me. I guess that makes those links the original URL.
