However, compared with Alpha I feel the trails edges are a bit to strong, they should be blurred a bit (as they were in Alpha). Also, I know we wanted to avoid a possible clash with the Debian swirl logo, but from a composition point of view the counter-clockwise trails work better: your attention enters the composition normally from the left and is lead gently by the trails to the point of interest. With the new composition it clashes: my attention is taken from the bottom-left and driven into an edge at the top, then a very short trail from right to the point of interest.
