Is very similar with this photo I made this summer at FUDCon:
http://nicubunu.ro/pictures/photoblog/img_2001.jpg (minor diference is
the placement of the band of focus in the bottom versus top part).

Just like a photo with a narrow depth of field, is a very realistic
effect but not found very often as you need relatively capable lenses
for it.
