I had expected that work where I take care to execute with good draftsmanship would be more valuable to this project than some of the experimental stuff or general "messing around" drawings. From what I've seen in the wiki about icons, standardization and cleanliness of presentation are the threshold norm. I think I will need to do some Inkscape tutorials to make sure I know what I am doing in vector. I'll go and look at your linked works when I get a chance. The work-a-day world is kind of intrusive at the moment. Cheers.

A good and comprehensive source of Inkscape tutorials is

While cleanliness is always a good thing, we do a lot more things beside
icons, there you may feel more freedom to experiment, like desktop
wallpapers, website banners, T-shirts and many others.
