I've read that quite a bit myself. I have no idea how it fares in usability measurements but I know several people who hung on to their FC6 backgrounds up until around F9 or later. That's all anecdotal, but suffice it to say that having a hint of something we used in a different way before isn't, by definition, a bad thing. -- Paul W.
