Feel free to take it. And there is no need to ask before taking an unclaimed task, just modify its status (note: those interested in the evolution of the page are subscribed to update notifications).

No problem, stay in touch with the requester, he is the one who will acknowledge the final result, not us.
Once he is happy with the result and the graphic get used, you can move it in the "Resources Created" section of the page.
