I think I actually ran into this a bit back as well, installing
xorg-x11-server-Xephyr seemd to allow me to run it properly.
Thanks, this did the trick!
However, for useful screenshots a large resolution is needed, so I added
"-geometry 1024x768" to the existing "Xnest=/usr/bin/Xephyr -audit 0"
line in /usr/share/gdm and it does not work.
