Why don't you use the fedoraproject.org wiki to upload those images? Is useful to have all the proposals in one place for easier comparison.
Regarding your second proposal, if we will ever have a mascot, it will not make use of the logo in its original form (trademark policy). People may remix and add some logos in their own derivatives, but this is up to the individuals.
PS: the server you are using does not use the right MIME type for SVG, it should be "image/svg+xml"
