Using the xml editor from Inkscape, it turned out some of shape were hidden which explains some issues displayed by Martin Sourada[1]. For example, preference-desktop-accessibility.svg contains junk from Adobe Illustrator. After cleaning unnecessary <svg: path> inside <svg:g> and removing non svg tag (except the one named sodipodi or inkscape) using XML editor, the duplicated polygon went away. I included the original icon with the cleaned version (end with R). The trick is from Inkscape FAQ[2] [1]http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/MartinSourada [2]http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/FAQ#I_exported_an_SVG_file_from_Adobe_Illustrator.2C_edited_it_in_Inkscape.2C_and_imported_back_to_AI.2C_but_there_my_changes_are_lost.21 -- Luya Tshimbalanga http://www.fedoraproject.org/wiki/LuyaTshimbalanga Fedora Art Team
