Let's Stay Connected!

After Friday, September 15th, you will no longer receive emails from FoodSafety.gov. In preparation for this, wed like to offer you the opportunity to subscribe to similar information from our trusted federal government food safety partners. The email subscription options are listed for your consideration below:

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

CDC provides a vital link between illness in people and the food safety systems of government agencies and producers. Sign up for the CDC and Food Safety newsletter for information on new CDC research, consumer food safety education resources, and foodborne disease outbreak investigation updates.

USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS)

FSIS protects the publics health by ensuring the safety of meat, poultry, and processed egg products. FSIS offers several email subscription options:

  • FSIS Recalls and Public Health Alerts Sign up to be notified by email of any new recall of meat, poultry, or processed egg products.
  • USDA Food Safety Blogs - Sign up to receive copies of the latest FSIS food safety blogs on topics ranging from seasonal food safety tips to helpful apps.
  • USDA Food Safety Education Newsletter - Food Safety educators are invited to subscribe to this list to receive educational materials and resources.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA)

FDA has several subscription e-publications concerning food safety: Recalls, Market Withdrawals, & Safety Alerts; Constituent Updates; and Quarterly News for Educators. Because distribution of these items is moving to a new vendor, sign-up is temporarily suspended. FDA will send you information about subscribing to these e-publications in the near future.
