Updated Veterinary Master Files

 

Veterinary Master Files (VMFs) are submissions to CVM that provide confidential information about veterinary drugs and drug substances. CVM posts updates to current VMF holdings on their website every quarter. In response to feedback from some of our users, we have made changes to the Veterinary Master Files webpage. These changes include:

• Addition of a new “received date” column to the tables in each of the four listings of Veterinary Master files which documents the date when CVM first received the master file;
• Addition of a new Excel spreadsheet file containing the same information as will now be in the PDF files.

 

These changes allow greater consistency with the similar website for Drug Master Files maintained by FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) at http://www.fda.gov/Drugs/DevelopmentApprovalProcess/FormsSubmissionRequirements/DrugMasterFilesDMFs/UCM2007046.

 

We hope the changes prove beneficial and we welcome comments sent to VMSTFILE@xxxxxxxxxxx.
