Condies Foods, Inc. of Salt Lake City, Utah is recalling Condies brand “Bold and Zesty” salsa with USE THRU dates from 10/29 (2014) to 1/27 (2015) and Dr. J’s brand “Mild” and “Medium” salsas with USE THRU dates from 10/29 (2014) to 2/4 (2015), because they contain the recalled spice cumin which may contain undeclared peanut protein. People who have an allergy to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
