New Course: The Influence of Sex and Gender on Disease _expression_ and Treatment

We�re pleased to introduce Course 3 in the Science of Sex and Gender in Human Health series! Learn how differences between women and men influence disease manifestation, treatment, and outcomes.

Course 3 is made up of five lessons: 1) metabolic bone disorders; 2) cardiovascular disease; 3) pulmonary function and health; 4) pain; and 5) substance abuse and treatment.

This is the newest CME/CNE/CPE course offering in a series developed by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Research on Women�s Health (ORWH), in collaboration with the U.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Office of Women�s Health. The series, designed primarily for researchers, clinicians, educators, and students in medical, pharmaceutical, and nursing schools, is offered at no charge and is open to the public.
