Title: Medicines in My Home Update

New FDA consumer education materials on the Safe Use of Acetaminophen.

Acetaminophen, also called APAP, is one of the most commonly used drugs in the United States for treating pain and fever. It is in many over-the-counter and prescription medicines. For most, acetaminophen is safe and effective when used as directed. However, if you take more than directed, acetaminophen can cause serious liver injury.
