House Of Flavors Recalls Ice Cream Sold In The Northeast U.S. Due To Possible Health Risk Related To Expanded Recall By Setton Pistachio Of Terra Bella, Inc.

House of Flavors Ice Cream Company has announced a voluntary recall of select ice cream products made with pistachio nuts that have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. This voluntary recall is a result of the recent expansion of the Setton Farms pistachio nut recall. Salmonella is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
