Jay Robb Enterprises Inc., of Carlsbad, CA, is recalling all of their peanut butter-flavored JayBars due to potential contamination with Salmonella. The bars were manufactured using peanut products recalled by Peanut Corporation of America and have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
