DSD Services, Inc. Announces Voluntary Recall of Mega Trail Mixes Due to Potential Health Risk (March 6)

DSD Services, Inc. of Shiner, Texas is voluntarily recalling Mega Snax Brands of 5.5oz Munchy Trail Mix, 9.0oz Texas Trail Mix, 9.0oz Tropical Trail Mix, and 4.25oz Pacific Sunrise Mix with expiration dates in December 2008 because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The recalled product(s) contain peanut products supplied by Peanut Corporation of America, which has recently announced an expansion of a voluntary recall covering all peanut products manufactured and distributed from their Plainview, TX plants.
