Beneficial Foods/Nature's Candy is recalling health bars containing peanuts because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The recalled products contain peanut products supplied by Peanut Corporation of America, which has recently announced an expansion of a voluntary recall covering all peanut products manufactured and distributed from their Plainview, TX plant. Peanut Corporation of America is currently the focus of an ongoing investigation concerning the recent Salmonella outbreak.
