Brent and Sam's Announces Expanded Voluntary Recall of One Variety of Previously Recalled Sam's Choice Brand Cookies (February 12)

North Little Rock-based Brent and Sam's announced today an expanded voluntary recall of one flavor of Sam's Choice Cookies, which initially was recalled on January 23, 2009. The expanded recall includes all lots and date codes of its Sam's Choice Brand Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies as a precautionary measure due to the recall expansion by Peanut Corporation of America's Blakely, Georgia facility, which is the subject of an FDA investigation concerning the recent salmonella outbreak.
