Weis Markets today issued a voluntary recall for two private label peanut butter sandwich crackers it sells under its Weis Quality label: Weis Quality (WQ) Cheese Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers, 11-ounce (UPC 41497-56442) and Weis Quality Toasted Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers 11-ounce (UPC 41497-56443) because the products have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella since they contain peanut butter supplied by the Peanut Corporation of America (PCA) which has been linked to a national outbreak of salmonella.
