We recently added the following to the New and Revised Airports Advisory Circulars page on the FAA website:
Change 2 to AC 150/5200-30D, Airport Field Condition Assessments and Winter Operations Safety
(Consolidated AC includes Changes 1 and 2)
Change 2 provides additional language on when to issue new runway condition reports and the impact of snow accumulation around NAVAIDs. The AC will now includes language similar to FAA Order 6750.49, Maintenance of Instrument Landing System (ILS) Facilities, addressing accumulations, clearing, and the removal of snow around NAVAID equipment.
